C. 1840s English Inlaid Wood Storage BoxEnglish inlaid wooden box, c. 1840, with an ornate lid of mother of pearl, and abalone inlay over ebony. Top edge is also inlaid with pearl and marquetry. The interior features a tufted royal blue silk lid panel with inset mirror and a spacious linen lined compartment. Originally a gentleman dressing box, now a handsome catchall for remotes, chargers, or phones. Minor age wear to silk and mirror (see photos). Key not included. Era: Antique; 19th
