Home Safe With Four Paws

Four Paws offers a solution for all of your housing and containment needs!

  • Crates: Four Paws offers both a single- and double-door crate, as well as a crate especially designed for puppies. All crates include a leak-proof removable tray and are 100% collapsible for easy storage.
  • Gates: Four Paws gates allow your pet to have the run of the house while keeping him out of troublesome areas. Available in multiple styles, you can choose from among pressure-mounted metal gates and stylish wood gates.
  • Exercise Pens: To allow your dog playtime and rest time in one convenient spot inside or out, try the Four Paws Lightweight Exercise Pen, available in three sizes.
  • Leashes & Harnesses: Four Paws provides everything you need when on the move, from training leads to harnesses to reflecting leashes.

Four Paws Step-by-Step Crate Training

1. Crate Selection

Crates come in single-door and double-door varieties. For most purposes, an air-ventilated wire crate, which allows your dog to see his surroundings, is the best choice. It can be covered if there’s something going on you don’t want him to see. There should be enough room in the crate for him to turn around and lie down with his paws outstretched.

2. Placement and Setup

Place the crate in a quiet but not isolated area of the house. You want your dog to have positive associations for his new den, which won’t happen if it makes him feel lonely. The kitchen or corner of the family room is ideal, away from drafts and direct sunlight. The crate should feel like home, not a place of banishment, so the crate should contain familiar bedding and a favorite chew toy.

3. Open House

To get your dog used to the crate, place a chew toy or treat inside. Our sister company, Nylabone, manufactures chew toys and edible chews that are perfect for your dog’s crate time. If he enters the crate, praise him. Do not shut the door. Stay with him. Before you know it, your dog will regard his crate as his own special getaway. Never use force to crate train your dog. Be patient and let him discover its advantages on his own.

4. Settling Down

Once your dog gets accustomed to the crate, you can begin shutting the door for very brief periods, gradually increasing them over time. Soon your dog will be able to sleep all night in his crate or spend time there during the day. It is very important to ensure that he is not left in the crate for long periods. Dogs require plenty of exercise outside of the crate.

Four Paws Smart Gates: Three-Step Process

1. Select Your Style and Material

Four Paws offers a variety of metal and wooden gates that protect your home and your dog. Some are pressure-mounted for easy installation and others attach permanently to the wall for a more secure barrier. From foot-release and hands-free gates to auto-close and expanding gates, Four Paws has a gate to meet the needs of any home.

2. Pick a Size

The size of the gate you need depends on the width of the door opening and the height of your dog. Four Paws offers gates of many different heights and expandable openings. Although pressure mounts are wonderful for most spaces, choose a hardware-mounted gate if you need a barrier at the top of the stairs.

3. Rest Assured!

Four Paws gates will come in handy again and again, keeping both your dog and your guests safe. When small children or elderly relatives are visiting, when you’re hosting a party, or when you’re having a plumber fix the sink, a Four Paws gate will keep your dog separated from trouble without inconveniencing your human company.

Pleasantly surprised.
Scent: Rose Vanilla
As with most deodorant, I was actually expecting a pretty potent smell with this. I'm very happy to report that's not the case. The scent is pleasant, but not overpowering. I just put a few swipes on before heading out or going to the gym, and I smell nice for the next few hours. Another nice thing about it, such as when going to the gym as I mentioned, is that it doesn't leave a bunch of nasty residue on my shirt or workout clothes. There's a little bit, sure. But not like some deodorants that leave a crap load of it. It's not that it's difficult to wash out. It's just that it's annoying. I don't really know how much I can say about a stick of deodorant. It smells nice, lasts a long time, and works great. Isn't that what it's all about, at the end of the day?

Excellent deodorant!
Scent: Santal Vanilla
This is great deodorant. I have used it for a month now and it prevents all underarm odor for the entire day. Its formula is smooth and easy to apply without being rough on my skin. Its scent is very natural and almost unnoticeable. Overall this is great deodorant that works well at hiding underarm odor. I love that it's organic and doesn't contain aluminum, too! This is a great product that I would get again. It's long lasting and feels good on my skin.

Not for everyone
Scent: Santal Vanilla
This product smells amazing but unfortunately did not help. By hour 5 of wearing this product, I had body odor. Not every body is the same, so it’s because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else.

Great! Unscented
Flavor Name: Unscented, Size: 1 count (Pack of 5)
Good natural ingredients, you can tell by the scent and texture and the ingredients list is spot on, no lies. This is perfect for sensitive skin. It has a pleasant olive oil scent and I have never gotten a rancid smell from it. The natural preservatives keep it nice. I have re-ordered over and over. Good product
