The Silvercast features lightweight, durable aluminum construction with a ball-bearing drive, an oscillating spool for precise level-winding, right/left retrieve, plus an ultra-smooth multi-disk drag. A new soft-touch, dual-paddle rubber handle on all models provides a sure and comfortable grip while reeling and a more modern flair to the nose cone and body accentuate a cosmetically sharp appearance.
Daiwa Silvercast reels are available in sizes, SC80B, SC100B and SC120B and come pre-spooled with premium 8, 10, or 12 pound test monofilament line. All models sport a 4.3:1 retrieve ratio with line pick-up rates ranging from 21.8 to 25.9 inches per crank depending on model size.
