Description:

Kerastase Curl Manifesto Gelée Curl Contour is a lightweight and defining gelée designed specifically for curly and coily hair types. This curl-enhancing product helps to shape, define, and control curls while providing hydration and frizz control. The gelée texture allows for easy application and even distribution, helping to create well-defined, bouncy curls without any stiffness or crunch. Formulated with nourishing ingredients, this gelée leaves the hair with a natural-looking finish and enhances the overall appearance of curly hair.

How to Apply:

  1. Start with damp or towel-dried hair.
  2. Take a small amount of the Kerastase Curl Manifesto Gelée Curl Contour and rub it between your palms.
  3. Apply the gelée to your hair, focusing on the lengths and ends where curl definition is desired.
  4. Gently scrunch or twist the hair sections to encourage curl formation and enhance definition.
  5. For more control and hold, apply additional product as needed.
  6. Allow the hair to air dry or use a diffuser to dry the hair gently, maintaining the natural curl pattern.
  7. Style as desired and avoid touching the hair until completely dry to minimize frizz.

Benefits:

  1. Curl Definition: The gelée helps to enhance and define natural curl patterns, providing well-shaped and bouncy curls.
  2. Hydration: It provides lightweight hydration to the hair, preventing dryness and promoting softness.
  3. Frizz Control: The gelée helps to control frizz and flyaways, creating a smoother and more polished look.
  4. Natural Finish: It leaves the hair with a natural-looking finish, without stiffness or crunchiness.
  5. Lightweight Formula: The gelée has a lightweight texture that does not weigh down the hair, allowing for natural movement and flexibility.

Key Ingredients:

  1. Manuka Honey: Known for its moisturizing and conditioning properties, manuka honey helps to hydrate and nourish the hair.
  2. Ceramide: Ceramide helps to strengthen and repair the hair fiber, improving its resilience and preventing breakage.
  3. Xylose: This heat-activated ingredient forms a protective barrier around the hair, shielding it from heat damage.

Pro Tips:

  1. Start with a small amount of the gelée and add more if needed. It is better to apply in small increments to avoid overload.
  2. Apply the gelée to wet or damp hair for better product distribution and curl definition.
  3. For tighter curls, apply the gelée to smaller sections of hair and use a twisting or scrunching motion to encourage curl formation.
  4. Avoid excessive touching or manipulation of the hair after applying the gelée to prevent disrupting the curl pattern and causing frizz.
  5. Use a diffuser attachment on a low heat setting to dry the hair, gently scrunching the curls to enhance their definition.
  6. Pair the gelée with other products from the Kerastase Curl Manifesto range for a complete curly hair care routine.

Always refer to the instructions on the product packaging for the most accurate and up-to-date usage guidelines.

democracy in action or am I allowed to vote
Format: Paperback
This is a superb document on the history of voting rights in America from its founding to 2000. Well worth reading about the struggles of Americans to get the vote. The discussion of suffrage for all Americans. How those that had the vote trying to prevent other people from getting the vote. We struggle with this today, given that President Drumpf is more than willing to disregard the majority of American voters. Our democracy beware and here is the history.

Incredibly well researched
Format: Paperback
Purchased in light of the current election fraud/security debates. I learned nothing so far is new. Data intensive. Can be dry at times, though many of the quotes from historical figures are revealing as to prevailing attitudes.

Excellent and thorough
This must be the definitive history of voting in America. I hold back from giving it five stars because it was a little more than what I was looking for, but this is as thorough as I have ever come across. Also, I love charts and graphs, and he has a great array of tables at the end. Interesting tidbit was the role war played throughout American history in expanding the right to vote. Also, though we all know how the right to vote gradually expanded, but what many of us didn't realize was how the right to vote actually shrunk at various points in American history. That is, some people who had the right to vote had it taken away at various moments in American history. When all is said and done, this is a great book.
