In the monograph monuments Russian Sfragistic, Mainly northeast Russia XIV are investigated XV centuries. Their history is examined in a context of functioning of seales in Russian state since X century and on a background of evolution of a legal status of a seal in medieval Europe as a whole. The special attention is given the art - graphic side of the wax seales - prints which have replaced metal of the Byzantine sample, formation of the specific symbolic reflecting ideology of the centralized Russian state. The catalogue of seales - prints XIV is made XV centuries, photo are reproduced more than 100 seales.

В монографии исследуются памятники русской сфрагистики, преимущественно Северо - Восточной Руси XIV - XV вв. Их история рассматривается в контексте функционирования печатей в Русском государстве начиная с X в. и на фоне эволюции правового статуса печати в средневековой Европе в целом. Особое внимание уделяется художественно-изобразительной стороне восковых печатей-оттисков, сменивших металлическую буллу византийского образа, формированию специфической символики, отражающей идеологию централизованного Русского государства. Составлен каталог печатей-оттисков XIV - XV вв., фотографически воспроизведены более 100 печатей.
