Il Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC “Mammut” di Cascina del Colle è un vino di grande carattere, complesso, che riesce a reggere l’evoluzione degli anni dimostrando il meglio. Mai banale, è un sorso che piace costantemente, grazie al frutto che riempie la bocca e al tannino che ne garantisce la persistenza.

Caratteristiche: Rosso rubino, con riflessi granati. Ricco al naso, piacevole su note di frutti rossi e spezie, chiudendo con sentori eterei molto eleganti. In bocca è asciutto e sempre armonico, il finale è lungo e fruttato.

In una terra mite e dura allo stesso tempo, ove l’asprezza della montagna si coniuga con la dolcezza del mare, nasce la nostra azienda, frutto di culto e tradizione della nostra famiglia contadina.

I Vitigni cresciuti su terreni calcati da grandi uomini con grandi idee, gli appezzamenti dove sono presenti i nostri vigneti hanno una prevalenza di esposizione a Sud/Sud-Est ed un’altezza media di 200/250 mt s.l.m.

La grande risorsa di cui può beneficiare la nostra azienda è la varietà delle tenute aziendali ben distribuite sul territorio.

Gli oltre 20 ettari aziendali si estendono principalmente sul Comune di Villamagna, ma si sviluppano anche nei comuni limitrofi di Bucchianico, Ripa Teatina e Vacri. La posizione geografica, le dolci colline che godono di un microclima unico, rende Villamagna fra le zone più vocate al mondo per la coltivazione della vite.

La vicinanza al mare equivalente a quella della montagna, fa sì che le escursioni termiche fra giorno e notte e tra le varie stagioni, rendano per caratteristiche: i vini rossi complessi, articolati e longevi e nello stesso tempo i vini bianchi ricchi di profumi e acidità che esprimono una durevolezza eccellente.
