Description
Our precision CNC machined 225mm diameter discs made from billet 6061 Aluminium are a high-quality and efficient sanding and grinding solution. With a perfectly flat work face, you can achieve precise and consistent results every time.
The discs are lightweight, yet offer exceptional heat dissipation and rigidity, making them ideal for demanding sanding and grinding applications. The bevelled edge allows you to easily sand into tight areas and grind crisp corners with ease without the risk of damaging the workpiece.
Details
Our discs are designed to fit standard 230x280mm sandpaper and abrasive sheets, making them incredibly versatile and adaptable. To attach the sheet to the disc, we recommend using 3M feathering adhesive or Kraft spray adhesive and trimming the excess to achieve a perfect fit.
Our discs are available to suit either 19mm (1-1.5hp) or 24mm (2hp) keyed motor shaft, making them compatible with a wide range of sanding and grinding machines. We also recommend using 4 pole motors for discs due to more suitable RPM for disc grinding.
Please note that our discs should be run at an absolute maximum RPM of 2880rpm to ensure optimal performance and durability. Choose our precision CNC machined discs and experience the difference for yourself.
