This is a wonderful example of Enmanuel's command of the paper medium. His texture, compositions, and technical mastery continue to astound. This is recent work, and though his symbology tends toward the abstract, he has hinted that these paintings are representative of feminine, divine beings of a benevolent, and supportive nature. Much of his work employs the palm jungle as a basis for the profound symbology, and iconography of the work. There is great power in these paintings, and the forms, symbols, and figures in the end, compose these lovely abstract, tropical landscapes, that he has become known for. Though one can find points of reference that were inspired by the Latin Masters, the work has become entirely his own. There are several more images from this series available. This work is about 8" x 6", are mixed media on a rather fascinating, highly textured paper board. Very unique work.

Enmanuel's work was prominently featured in the 4th season of the Fox Television's show "Prison Break". It was used to decorate the loft space in the show, and his work can be seen in a number of episodes.

The origins of his iconography are in the early work of Wifredo Lam. One can see elements that are a reminder of this great artist's work. Though Enmanuel has used these elements as a point of inspiration, he has succeeded in making the work entirely his own. He has focused on Lam's early jungle work as a jumping off point, to create a body of symbols, and a language that depicts a reverence for Mother Nature, and his work has a power and intensity that is rarely found in contemporary art. We at MLA search for contemporary artists that have both conceptual genius, and technical mastery. A combination of qualities rarely found today, but present in abundance in the work of this brilliant artist. Enmanuel was selected to create two huge murals in Cuba. One is a 40 ft. mural at the Railway Station in Santiago, and the other is a 30 ft. mural in the lobby of the Melia Cohiba, which is the top hotel in Eastern Cuba. These are both extremely prestigious projects, and have placed this great artist in an important historical context.

We have been in business for 20 years, and enjoy a very good feedback rating. We believe in, and offer outstanding customer service. MLA Gallery has other paintings by Enmanuel, as well as a large selection of paintings, graphics, sculptures, and drawings by established Latin artists, and Latin Masters. Please inquire for many others.

We can frame this rather nicely, with a black museum type moulding, floated on a platform over silk, for only $100 more, including packing and shipping.

Maelreg Does It Again
Color: Dark Grey, Size: Medium
I just wrote a review for another Maelreg product. They're all good! lol 21st century fabrics are here to save us! ;) This one is also really well made. I love the fit and feel. It's perfect for those mild fall/spring days where an extra layer of windproof protection is just really handy. The arms aren't insulated, so it's great for active outdoor ventures. I use mine for jogging over a poly/blend wicking tee. It lives at the office where I sometimes need a stylish overcoat in the A/C freezing office. I bought a size M for my 5'10" 175 lb. frame and it fits perfectly. Just long enough to sit at the top of my glutes. The front of the jacket has a nice contrast/sheen that you don't see everywhere, it's a nice style addition. The poly blend fabric adds a nice degree of flex to the fit, it's comfortable under a heavy overcoat or over a light thermal layer. Super easy to launder on cold/low, and really low temp iron to rid it of those packaging wrinkles, and its easy care forever. Great product at a really nice price point, all things considered.

Beatiful, light, sytlish jacket and you will receive tons of compliments on
This jacket is simply beautiful and well made. I took this out on a boat ride out in the bay and it was perfect. The materials are super soft with the spandex in arms, shoulders and back. The front has a very sylish super soft light weight fleece and the neck has three different colors in the inside which make the jacket pop. I recieved a lot of complements on the glacier grey and the large fit me perfectly at 6ft 190lbs. This is extreamly well designed and relaxed but stylish and can be worn for different occasions. This is a jacket that will make you stand out and get compliments. It is light weight so this is not a winter jacket but is perfect for 55-70 Degree weather with Tshirt underneith. The colorway on this glacery gray is well thought out and looks blue to me. Great overall and don't feel its too long in arms or overall length as another user posted. Updated: It did not shrink in cold/warm wash. I wanted to add that after washing the jacket was very wrinkled and care instructions are low heat. The jacket looked awful so I had to use a steamer to get out the wrinkles. If you do not have a steamer you may want it dry cleaned.

Machine washable, and machine dryable
I have no idea what these jackets have to do with playing golf, but they are very comfortable and an excellent value. Something that is very important to me, is that this jacket is machine washable. The product information does not provide specific care instructions regarding drying. I guess I could always put the jacket on a coat hanger and hang it in the bathroom until it dries. One star demerit for not addressing the drying aspect. I have tried this jacket on and it fits perfectly and feels soft and flexible. Maybe that's why they suggest wearing it to play golf? I haven't worn this yet, I have to wash clothes before wearing them. I have bad allergies and am very careful not to wear clothes before I have personally washed them. I will report back, and edit my review if this doesn't wash well. (NOTE) I pleased to report that I machine washed and dried this jacket without incident. The jacket came through like a champ. I think that long term if I wash this jacket often, I may just line dry it to be safe.

Materials are very light weight, not sure if it will hold up
This jacket is very light weight, made of very thin nylon type materials. Concerned of its abrasion resistance. Only inside of sleeves are fleece lined. It is very comfortable and fits well to size. Don’t have enough cold weather yet to test, so we’ll see. Not sure this is a great value for the money.
