The Needham’s EMP-10 is a device programmer designed for programming EPROM and EEPROM integrated circuits. It connects to a computer for control and is used to write, read, and verify data on supported memory devices.

The unit includes a ZIF (zero insertion force) socket for IC placement and is intended for electronics development, repair, and data programming applications.

Please note this chip programmer was made in the 90's. You will need to ensure your setup is compatible before purchase.

Most likely you will need an Older PC with real parallel port.

• Use a desktop or laptop with a built-in LPT (parallel) port

• Run MS-DOS or Windows 95 / 98 / XP (32-bit)

• Use original Needham’s software (included).

• This item has been used.

• Selling as it is surplus to our needs.

• Overall it is in great physical condition. It comes with M1A, M2A and M3A module levers, orignal driver disk, LPT cable and a 120V power supply.

• Please be aware, this unit ships with a 120V power supply. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. Not a travel adaptor. Alternatively if you don't already have a step-down you could just buy a new 12V AC/AC power supply. (NOT DC +/-). If you are unsure please check in as we would be glad to help.

• The use of a step-down transformer may also apply to international buyers as well. Please ask if you are unsure so we can help you source the correct item.

• This sale is for the Needhams and accessories pictured only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
