The wire features a 3/4" hexagonal mesh made from 20-gauge steel for strength and durability. Each strand is electroplate galvanized before weaving, and the finished mesh is hot-dipped galvanized for superior rust resistance—ensuring a life expectancy of 6–10 years in most soils. This double-galvanizing process makes it far more resilient against corrosion and wear than standard fencing materials.

For installation, lay the mesh flat under raised beds, wrap it around root balls when transplanting, or trench it vertically around garden borders to create an underground barrier.
