Our VG-10 Hammered Damascus Nakiri Knife is meticulously crafted with a traditional straight blade, allowing you to achieve paper-thin slices and effortlessly chop through hearty vegetables. Forged and hammered with 46 layers of steel in the Damascus tradition, this knife features a VG-10 core, known for its exceptional edge retention and durability. The blade is complemented by a premium handcrafted Octagonal Ambrosia Wood handle, designed to provide both beauty and a secure, comfortable grip.

The Nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife that is an absolute must-have for anyone who loves working with vegetables, whether you're prepping ingredients for soups, salads, or herbs. Its thin, flat blade edge ensures full contact with the cutting surface for a clean, complete cut, minimizing the chance for vegetables to stick together. This makes it perfect for precise tasks such as chopping root vegetables and slicing delicate tomatoes.

The hammered texture of the blade not only adds a striking visual accent but also reduces friction, preventing food from sticking. The Octagonal Ambrosia Wood handle offers superior comfort and control, ergonomically designed to fit the hand for seamless use. Additionally, a Saya made from magnolia wood is included, protecting the blade when not in use and adding to the knife's elegant appearance.

Combining razor-sharp performance, superior craftsmanship, and unmatched durability, the VG-10 Hammered Damascus Nakiri Knife is a professional-grade chef's tool that delivers top-tier performance. Its premium steel and fine craftsmanship ensure it stands out as a high-value option in its price range. To preserve its sharp edge, always sharpen and hone with premium Japanese water stones, the ideal surface for maintaining the blade's quality. Hand wash with mild soap and avoid the dishwasher for long-lasting durability. For expert maintenance or sharpening, contact Yoshihiro Cutlery for professional services.

One of the best books on shame out there
Format: Paperback
As a shame researcher and educator, I often refer to DeYoung's book because it is so full of resources and relational tools for clinicians and individuals relating to the neurobiology of shame. It is a very small book with A LOT of information. Many references to the shame research and suggestions for treating shame in clinical practice from a perspective of right brain relationship dynamics. Thank you Patricia!

Highly recommend.
Format: Paperback
One of the most helpful, lucid, and comprehensive books on shame I've encountered. This was required reading for graduate school and is now one of my most returned to, dog-eared, and referenced books. Can't recommend enough.

Thorough, clear, enlightening, and inspiring - not often achieved in academia
Format: Paperback
This is an extraordinarily well-researched manual. It presents for the reader a Catholic-Christian perspective on psychology/mental health which is faithful to the magisterial teachings of the Church and the Christian tradition. So much good will come to the clinician/professor/pastoral leader/student/generally-concerned-citizen who engages thoughtfully with the CCMMP. More to the point, those whom they serve will reap the real harvest. This could be one of the most important books written in this century. Yes. Bold claim. Bolder still and brighter yet the vision of the human person elucidated in this volume. "The glory of God is a human person fully alive" (St. Irenaeus of Lyon) The CCMMP sheds light for the reader to catch that vision of God's image (the human person) in a world so dimmed by confusion. Read this book. Or pick put some chapters that are of particular interest to you and go through those. You'll be glad you did.
