A Little Hoop of Light

For this pair of Aurora pearl hoop earrings, we use ten small 3–4mm freshwater pearls on each earring — tiny pearls, but with a very bright, almost glowing surface.

Real pearls are never as simple as they look. To find two pearls that truly match is already difficult; to carefully match a full circle of tiny pearls by size, color, luster, and feeling takes even more patience.

That is why this design can only be made by hand. Before we set the pearls, we choose each one slowly, looking for pearls with a similar glow and soft harmony. The final pair may not be perfectly identical in the way machine-made jewelry looks identical — but that is exactly where the beauty of real pearls lives.

Please allow a little room for the natural, imperfect harmony of pearls. Each tiny pearl has its own quiet outline, its own light, and its own place in the design. Together, they create a pair of pearl hoops that feels luminous, delicate, and full of life.

Why We Love This Design

These earrings have a soft vintage feeling, but the 3–4mm mini pearls keep them light and refined. They are noticeable without feeling heavy, elegant without becoming too formal.
