One of the great and most unexpected success stories in Formula 1 history, the Brawn GP team won the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in its first and only year in Formula 1 – a unique story that is unlikely to ever again be repeated.

This comprehensive book covers Brawn BGP 001/02, the car driven to the World Championship in 2009 by the popular British Formula 1 star Jenson Button, and details the factors that went into its extraordinary success. Interviews with key members of the team, including team principal Ross Brawn, Brawn team chief executive Nick Fry, and drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, are accompanied by a wealth of images and official company documentation never before seen in public.

This is a heroic tale of foresight, resilience and fortitude, innovative engineering, great management and a high degree of talent on many levels – all of which are the cornerstones of Formula 1 teamwork and race car design excellence.

This team’s achievement is fully detailed, from beginning to end, in this book, the 18th in the Great Cars series from Porter Press.

A data engineering journey from basic to advance topics
Format: Kindle
Is the third time that I read this book. One of the most valuable aspects is the fact that depending of your data engineering mature, you'll always find a new aspect or ideas to put in practice. Hope the second version come soon!

Lottery Book
Format: Paperback
This book contains a lot of opinions without facts. Some are true, some are not. But its a lottery, you cold pick a gold text or a text that is full of buzzwords, without any meaning, fact and useless in real life.

Glad I bought this used
Format: Paperback
It’s packed with buzzwords and adjectives, offering plenty of in-vacuum advice and self-promotional ‘hire-me’ vibes. There’s some real insight here, but it’s buried under a lot of noise.

Not useful
Format: Paperback
This book has a few pieces of good advice, but its buried under mountains of weird and amateur level musings. Example: Paul Singman advocates for eliminating ETL entirely. How? Just reprogram the applications to which you may or may not have the source code to handle your data processing. He calls Intention Data Transfer 🥴 Thanks for the advice Paul, I'll get right on that.

Good starting point. But can't find the code.
Format: Kindle
Reading chapter 3. It was so far so good, but can't find the code in the repo. "All the related code can be found in the repository under project/hooks-notification." And in the repo I see no project folder. Please help!
