Drawing inspiration from the companys own historical Jeep collection, each new Hurricane Flat Fender Flare incorporates a unique double bolt pocket that combines the popular modern pocket style with the traditional flat fender design first found on the 1941 Willys MA. Engineered for both form and function, the fender flares unique shape is built to complement the Wranglers body, resting high on the vehicle and providing extra clearance for oversized wheels and tires while on trails while protecting the vehicles paint from flying rocks, mud and any other elements found outdoors. Each flare is constructed from durable black TPE plastic that can be left unfinished or painted to match the factory paint. Did not fit right out of box. Had to trim with scissors.

Good value. A little flimsy but pretty much what I expected. My only real complaint is that out of the box it did not drop right in to my Honda Odyssey. I had to trim the tabs on one end with scissors for it to fit in to the filter housing.

Comparable item dealers provide, but if you can DIY, you’ll save $40-50 bucks installation. Helpful hint, before installing, take a market and put the date and mileage of the end of the filter. Unless you drive a lot, the filters generally last a year.
