The Sharpsguard Pharmi 5L Medicinal Waste Container (Case of 48) enables the safe collection, transportation, and storage of solid dose medicinal waste
Please note that the Pharmi 5L Medicinal Waste Container is suitable for medicinal waste in its original packaging, such as tablets or bottles, but is not suitable for cytotoxic or cytostatic waste.
Practical Design
The Sharpsguard Pharmi 5L Medicinal Waste Container has been designed to provide a safer method of storing medicinal waste for incineration in larger capacities. The solid structure features a side handle to stop the container from rolling away, and also enables easier transportation and disposal. The aperture lid can also be closed to prevent accidental spillages.
It also includes a blue lid and body to allow for colour coding. This will provide a visual prompt for eliminating the chance of objects being placed in the incorrect containers. The label on the front of the container will also provide improved safety, with space for writing information including the container's location, department, and start date.
Ideal for Versatile Use
As the Pharmi 5L Medicinal Waste Container is larger in size to enable maximum capacity, it can be used in a wide range of situations. It is ideal for hospitals and wards where the frequent disposal of medicinal waste is required, and will also be useful for carrying to and from wards and clinics in between use.
