In 122 AD, during his visit to the northern reaches of Britannia, Roman Emperor Hadrian Augustus witnessed the devastation caused by the wars between his armies and the fierce Picts. To display the might of Rome, he commanded the construction of a monumental wall that would divide the Pict tribes from the rest of England. This grand structure stretched 80 Roman miles from coast to coast.

In Hadrian’s Wall, players step into the role of a Roman General tasked with constructing a milecastle and the bordering wall. Over the course of 6 years (rounds), players will build and fortify their fort and wall, man their defenses, and attract civilians by developing services and providing entertainment—all while defending the honor of the Roman Empire against the warring Picts. The player who earns the most Renown, Piety, Valour, and Discipline, while minimizing Disdain, will prove themselves as the ideal Roman citizen and be crowned Legatus Legionis!

Designed for 1-6 players, ages 12 and up, with a playtime of around 60 minutes.
