Installation & Maintenance Tips
- PTFE rear main seals are installed dry. Do not oil or grease the sealing lip.
- Use the supplied mounting sleeve and press squarely to the stop; do not hammer.
- Inspect crankshaft running surface for wear grooves; repair or sleeve if needed.
- Clean and degrease the bore; apply a light film of non hardening sealant only to the outer rim if specified by the vehicle OEM.
- After installation, allow the PTFE lip to set on the shaft before engine start as per OEM guidance.

Engine internal components require professional installation. Clearances, surface prep, lubrication requirements, and torque procedures must follow the manufacturer specifications. Incorrect fitment can cause immediate failure and loss of warranty.
