Its been proven time and again that the stock CP3 injection pump does not provide satisfactory fuel supply, both in terms of volume as well as pressure, for high performance engines. But what many don't know, is that even in moderately stock engines, the stock pump is over tasked. While some take the route of an upgraded single pump, many are looking towards dual pumps because they lessen the burden on the single pump, meaning it will run longer and more consistently over time. This will deliver better overall performance, allowing the injectors to run at their optimum whether you're daily driving, towing, or even racing.

When building this kit, Fleece set out to create the cleanest and simplest to install system on the market. No complex brackets, no failure prone pump controller, just a straight forward installation that delivers the performance your Cummins engine is after.

SECONDARY INJECTION PUMP SPECIFICS: This kit will not include a CP3 pump. This will be up to you to supply. The recommended pump to use in this kit is the pump found on the 6.7L Cummins. We will not be able to confirm fitment with any other CP3 pump.

FUEL DISTRIBUTION BLOCK / HOSE & FITTING KIT: Add Fleece's own Fuel Distribution Block and Hose and Fitting Kit for a clean installation. So now, what the heck is a Fuel Distribution Block and why do you need it? If you have an aftermarket fuel filtration system such as an Air Dog or a FASS and dual CP3 pumps, the fuel distribution block will allow you to get rid of your unnecessary factory fuel filter and give you a convenient and clean location to route your feeds, returns, and sensors. It mounts in the factory fuel filter location to allow you to use your factory return lines without any relocating or bending. It also features a port for the factory WIF (water in fuel) sensor, a 9/16-18 o-ring port (dual CP3 return port), (3) 3/4-16 o-ring ports (feed ports), and (2) 1/8" NPT ports (sensor ports). For those who already have the Fleece Fuel Distribution Block, you can just simply purchase the Hose & Fitting Kit by itself to properly route the fuel lines to your secondary pump. If your truck is not equipped with an auxiliary fuel filter, such as that found on a FASS or AirDog system, you must also purchase Fleece Auxiliary Fuel Filter and Line Kit.

IMPORTANT NOTES: This kit will NOT work with the stock intake manifold (horn), and must be used in conjunction with an aftermarket intake manifold, such as a Glacier Diesel Power (GDP) Mega-Flo or Banks Intake Horn.

Couldn't put Ida in the Middle down until the end
Format: Hardcover
Ida in the Middle so vividly captures the point of view of a girl not only sorting out feeling like and being treated like an outsider in a new school, but her relationship with her immigrant parents, her younger and older sister (she is in the middle), and her growing awareness of her family's community in the Middle East. It is is warm novel of feelings, friendship, and the magic transport to the "Its A Wonderful Life" alternate reality of what being in 8th grade would be like if her family had stayed in the village where her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins still live. It is also a novel, like those set in other wartimes, that exposes hard realities. Descriptions of her alternative private school in the US and watching the "Arabs Got Talent" music competition on TV have some of sly wit of Where'd You Go, Bernadette, but the learning that Ida and the reader develop about both the community ties and the danger and dehumanization of checkpoints, home demolitions, and raids takes the book to another level of complexity and empathy for difficult circumstances and choices. Throughout, Ida's viewpoint as a 13-year-old trying to understand the world around her is fresh and appealing. She proves to be an unexpectedly level-headed protagonist as the plot carries her into danger and into new readiness for action. Through the course of the novel, both the reader's and Ida's empathy grows for the desperate situation of Palestinian farmers whose land is under siege (and of all living under occupation), for parents' struggle over the choice to remain out of the country, and for the daily decisions to claim joy and pleasure even if it entails contradictions. Ida left me energized and inspired, and ready to gift this book to the middle-grade kids I know, and also to my teacher friends who keep books in their classrooms for students to read.

A "magical" story of Palestinian life in the West Bank
Format: Hardcover
This young adult novel by Nora Lester Murad focuses on the quandary of a Palestinian-American teenager, Ida, who is learning about American culture while her extended family in the West Bank must cope with Israel’s many policies that discriminate against Palestinians. As Ida ponders how to fit in better at her school and a topic for a school assignment, she is magically transported to the land of her ancestors where she soon finds herself in a difficult situation. The novel explores several aspects of these policies, including the demolition of a friend’s home due to her family’s inability to get a construction permit. In between these difficult situations, there are some twists and turns that remind the reader of the importance of family and friends. This novel will help to validate the experiences of Palestinian youth who are "caught in the middle" like Ida. Readers of all ages will gain new insights into conditions for Palestinians living in the West Bank and how these pressures impact the daily lives and futures of Palestinian youth. (A teacher’s guide is available, which will be especially helpful for those unfamiliar with the situations described in Ida in the Middle. )

A must-read to shed light on the experiences of Palestinian-American children
Format: Hardcover
I picked up this book not knowing what to expect. What I ended up with was a rich and beautiful telling of the experiences of a young Palestinian-American girl who is trying to find her voice in a world that misunderstands and silences her. She is the hero that so many students need to hear about. Ida in the Middle beautifully weaves history, culture, and hope together for an empowering story of justice.

We are past due for Palestinian American heroines!
Format: Hardcover
Such an engaging read for this adult. How many books for older children have a Palestinian American main character as engaging as Ida? Not since Amani in "The Shepherd's Granddaughter" by Anne Laurel Carter (2010) or Liyana in "Habibi" by Naomi Shihab Nye (1997). We need diverse books and MORE of them. They are good food for discussion.

The Struggle to Belong
Format: Hardcover
Ida in the Middle is a must-read for anyone who cares about justice for Palestinians in Palestine, in the USA, and everywhere else. Author Nora Lester Murad gives us a protagonist struggling to find her place in a world that often denies her dignity. Her struggle is everyone’s struggle, especially in these turbulent times.
