Backstory. Specialist vinyl backdrops are routinely used on film sets to add depth and perspective to the background of a scene. Each is carefully designed to flow visually behind the foreground dressing and action. This piece is from a huge backdrop used to add detail to the skyscraper cityscape when Bond tracks the assassin Patrice to Shanghai.  

Details. The framed piece is made up of four elements: an on-set still at the top, underneath is a photograph of the complete flat backdrop, below that is a 10cm square piece of the authentic production backdrop and at the bottom is a certificate of authenticity from the Bond Archive with a hand written edition number, one of 500. Each element is set in a white conservation-grade mount within a black FSC wood frame.
