| Distribution | Portunus pelagicus, also known as the flower crab, blue crab, blue swimmer crab, blue manna crab or sand crab, and alimasag in Tagalog, is a large crab found in the intertidal estuaries of the Indian and Pacific Oceans (Asian coasts) and the Middle-Eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The name "flower crab" is used in east Asian countries while the latter names are used in Australia. The crabs are widely distributed in eastern Africa, Southeast Asia, East Asia, Australia, Persian Gulf and New Zealand |

| Short description | The males are bright blue in colour with white spots and with characteristically long chelipeds, while the females have a duller green/brown, with a more rounded carapace. The carapace can be up to 20 centimetres (7.9 in) wide. |
| Biology | P. pelagicus commonly enters estuaries for food and shelter. Its life cycle is dependent on estuaries as the larvae and early juveniles use these habitats for growth and development. Prior to hatching, the female moves into shallow marine habitats, releases her eggs and the newly hatched zoea I larvae move into estuaries. During this time they feed on microscopic plankton and progress from the zoea I stage to the zoea IV stage (approximately 8 days) and then to the final larval stage of megalopa (duration of 4–6 days). This larval stage is characterised by having large chelipeds used to catch prey. Once the megalopa metamorphoses to the crab stage they continue to spend time in estuaries which provides a suitable habitat for shelter and food. However, evidence has shown that early juveniles cannot tolerate low salinities for extended periods, which is likely due to its weak hyper-osmoregulatory abilities.[4] This may explain their mass emigration from estuaries to seawater during the rainy season. Male Portunus pelagicus are believed to become more territorial in colder water. This may explain why male crabs are rarely sighted within a close proximity to each other in more temperate waters; it also may explain why their female counterparts seem more prolific in these such areas. |

Fun, Easy Read
Format: Kindle
A really fun, easy read! The main character was really likeable, and the male main characters were engaging and fun.
Is this book going to change your life or reinvent literature? No. Is it an enjoyable read free from distracting errors that I plowed through in an afternoon? Yes.
On to book two!

Knotty Omegas series is a work of art!!
Format: Kindle
A.J. Shirley has done it again. I was hesitant to read this book because of the premise of omegaverse, but I loved Shirley's Aegis Saga so much that I decided to give this a try. I finished it faster than any other book I've ever read. I fell in love with Serenity, her sharp wit, her creativity, and her ability to hope and love despite her horrible past. I loved witnessing her healing journey. Her chemistry and connection with the pack made my heart race. The men were incredibly lovable and snuggly. And the spice was SPICY. Buckle up.

Knot their style
Format: Kindle
So I really enjoyed the story. I don’t really like dark omegaverse, surprisingly from the themes it did not go Dark. Instead, it stayed sweet. I like Serenity, you can tell just by the first scene that she was a fighter. She had to save her own life. Once she did save her own life she gets hit by a car. So then Pack Rhodes saves her life, I mean what do you do with a unconscious abused omega that you may or may not have hit with your car. Take her home of course. Loved this book and cant wait for the next one

Overall, this was a cute read. I liked the characters mostly. Remy was a bit ridiculous at points. Would consider reading more by this author.
