The Proof Half Sovereign 2016 pays tribute to Britain’s longest reigning monarch, combining tradition with celebration in a celebratory edition that pairs the iconic image of St George with an obverse portrait of The Queen by renowned sculptor James Butler MBE RA. The fifth definitive coinage effigy of The Queen by Jody Clark, first introduced in 2015, features on the Brilliant Uncirculated Sovereign and Half-Sovereign.

I git them on sale so for around $20 it is well worth the value and if something happens to it during the event or trip, even after for a girls night out I won’t be out hundreds of dollars like I would otherwise with my usual purses. Great choice. Colors are spot on, quality seems solid, and I expect to get a lot of use out of these due to being able to dress them up or dress them down. PEFECT!
