The latest in Bridgestone’s BATTLAX line of premium motorcycle tyres, the BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 delivers exceptional dry-grip performance on circuits and when cornering on mountain roads.

The BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 employs a newly designed compound in the edge portion of the tread that makes contact with the road when banking at sharp angles, maximising edge grip when cornering and allowing riders to take their sports-riding performance to the next level.

An updated pattern incorporating PULSE GROOVE contributes to the tyre’s impressive wet-weather performance.

What is PULSE GROOVE?

This tread pattern uses a pulse-shaped groove and deflector that optimises water flow. Tests have shown improved water drainage and better grip and adhesion in wet conditions, as well as an 8% increase in mileage.

Compound and construction

• New compound for the front shoulder and rear edge with optimised resin components to enhance grip characteristics.
• Grip improver material helps the tyre follow the road surface for increased traction.
• Carbon reinforces the spring-like polymer, preventing shrinkage and the resulting loss of grip.

Pattern design

• New pattern design including PULSE GROOVE in the rear for better wet performance.
• Optimised land/sea ratio in the shoulder area and pattern stiffness:
