• Nozzle Temperature: 245 - 265 ˚C 
• Build Plate Temperature: 90 – 100 ˚C 
• Build Surface Temperature: OFF for better strength, LOW FAN speed may be required for printers with active chamber heating.
• Fan Speed: 30 – 50 mm/s 
• Retraction: The ideal retraction settings vary from printer to printer and depend on the hot 
  end. The following settings have been a good starting point for many machines. Direct Drive: Retraction distance of 1mm with retraction speed of 30mm/s Bowden: Retraction distance of 3mm with retraction speed of 60mm/s
• Enclosure: Recommended 
• Heated Chamber: Recommended for some geometries. 70˚C+ may be required for higher density and larger geometries.
• Recommended Support Material: Self-support. 

The above are printing recommendations based on 0.4 mm nozzle. Please note ideal printing conditions may vary depending on your 3D printer setup. For high speed 3D printers, make sure to increase your extrusion temperature in order to use higher printing speeds. 

ABS filaments benefit from a hot environment. When printing larger or higher density models it can be 
beneficial to pre-heat your build plate 20 - 30 minutes before printing. In colder climates a longer preheating time may be useful. 

Which printer can print PolyLite™ ABS

Depending on the size of the models you are trying to print, PolyLite™ ABS can required enclosed 3D printer, or even actively heated chamber.

In general a non-enclosed 3D printer with 90˚C bed temperature and 260˚C printing temperature can handle models smaller than fist size. For bigger prints you will required an enclosed 3D printer (~40-50˚C), for models bigger than ~15-20cm in any direction, it will require an actively heated chamber (~70˚C+).

Using proper bed adhesion can also help printing larger parts without deformation/warping issue.
We can recommend Magigoo or BuildTak as adhesive and bed surface options.
