ENGLISH DESCRIPTION Maldeniña is set in a tiny town, "two rows of houses arranged like crooked teeth in the mouth of a lunatic, a town that is loved some of the time and does not appear on any map," a stopping-off point on the highway for truckers and strangers who are just passing through. This town and its inhabitants are the witnesses to Isa's solitude. In the rundown hotel room where she lives with her father, Isa cuts out clippings and makes sketches of the dream house she would like to share with him, but he seems more absent every day. Her father no longer looks at nor takes care of her. Isa busies herself with errands and housework, trying to avoid the clutches of Aunt José - who sees the girl as a way to fill her own empty life - ignore her stomachaches and, most of all, wait for her father to come home. In this novel, silence becomes a hymn of desolation, oddness and abandonment, standing in for language. Lorena Salazar Masso touches readers once again with her powerful storytelling and poetic and diaphanous prose, full of candor, anguish and delicacy.

Great buy.
Size: Medium, Color: Black
These socks have a cool fresh feel to them. I bought new running shoes, Hoka Bondi 9, and they feel great paired up with them. Similar socks in the store were $49. I tried several others brands like Sauchony and 2 other lesser known brands but there was something indescribably different. I purchased another pack immediately.

Comfort
Size: Medium, Color: Black
I have been wearing ASICS socks since forever! As a distance runner, I have worn many others from different companies, and I always come back! Also, i am not a fan of the invisible kind, and ASCIS seems to be the only ones to make the socks that are above the shoe, are durable, comfortable, I have no desire to look elsewhere. Thanks ASICS!
