Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Met uitzondering van tea tree en lavendel mogen essentiële oliën niet puur op de huid worden aangebracht. Mocht een essentiële olie per ongeluk in de ogen zijn terechtgekomen of levert een essentiële olie irritatie op breng dan direct een vette plantenolie op de plek aan. Bij abusievelijk inwendig gebruik ook direct enkele slokken vette plantenolie drinken. Essentiële oliën lossen namelijk het beste op in bijvoorbeeld olijfolie of zonnebloemolie. Bovendien werken deze oliën direct verzachtend. Daarna direct een arts waarschuwen!

Alleen onder deskundige begeleiding kunnen essentiële oliën voor inwendig gebruik worden toegepast. De aromatherapeute van Volatile raadt inwendig gebruik af. Ga hiermee nooit zelf experimenteren!
