Geïnspireerd door de Ikon, de MAXXIS Rekon band 27.5x2.80 Zijdeglans Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready met zachte stang is ook ontworpen voor wedstrijden Langlauf competitie op een standaard 27.5 PLUS fiets, maar is ontworpen voor zeer technisch terrein dat meer grip en controle vereist.

Het 60 tpi karkas en de drievoudige MaxxTerra rubbersamenstelling bieden een uitstekend compromis, met betere tractie en meer grip dan MaxxSpeed en betere prestaties dan MaxxGrip. De Rekon band van MAXXIS zal rijders die op zoek zijn naar een lichtgewicht, high-performance model zeker bevallen.

In deze Tubeless Ready versie, die met of zonder binnenband gemonteerd kan worden, is deze band ook voorzien van SilkShield verstevigingen van zijwand tot zijwand en Exo verstevigingen op de zijwand voor maximale bescherming tegen lekrijden en de risico's van scheuren en schuren.
