Omschrijving

Transparante, zijdeglanzende anti-slip beits op basis van terpentine / white spirit.

Toepassing

Ideaal voor het behandelen van (hard)houten geïmpregneerde vlonders, terrassen en buitentrappen. De beits dringt diep in het hout en laat een beschermende laag achter op het oppervlak.

Verwerking

Goed roeren voor gebruik. In 2 of 3 lagen aanbrengen in de nerfrichting. Voor maximale indringing de 1e laag op onbehandeld hout verdunnen met max. 3% terpentine/white spirit, de 2e en 3e laag niet verdunnen. De uiteindelijke kleur is afhankelijk van het soort hout en het aantal geschilderde lagen. Om kleurverschillen te voorkomen schilder niet te grote oppervlakken ineens. Werk altijd ‘nat in nat’. Tussen de lagen licht schuren in de nerfrichting en stofvrij maken. Op onbehandeld hout 3 lagen, bij onderhoud 2 lagen aanbrengen. Tussen de lagen licht schuren en ontstoffen. Doorgehard na ca. 14 dagen.

Bij voorkeur verwerken tussen +8°C en +30°C en niet in de felle zon of bij kans op regen. Na gebruik de verpakking goed sluiten, even omkeren om velvorming te voorkomen en rechtop wegzetten.

Voorbehandeling

Ondergrond

Moet draagkrachtig, schoon, droog, stof- en vetvrij zijn. Gaatjes of kieren dichten met een houtvulmiddel.

Onbehandeld hout

Ontvetten, licht schuren, de scherpe kanten afronden en openstaande houtverbindingen, kitvoegen e.d. herstellen met een daarvoor geschikt product. Na verharding, het geheel schuren en stofvrij maken. Vervolgens 3 gekleurde lagen aanbrengen.

Behandeld hout in slechte staat

Alle slecht hechtende delen volledig verwijderen met afbijtmiddel of door middel van afbranden of föhnen. Vervolgens behandelen als “onbehandeld hout”.

Behandeld hout in goede staat

Ontvetten met een ontvettingsmiddel en laten drogen. Daarna licht schuren en vervolgens 1 of 2 gekleurde lagen aanbrengen.

Reinigen gereedschap

White spirit of kwastenreiniger.

Book content good but formats for both kindle and hard copy versions are not as expected

The info in the book is good however I originally purchased the kindle version but the format was difficult to read. It’s not like a regular kindle book. The book was beautiful and the pictures inside were in color. So I decided to go ahead and order the hard copy even though it was very expensive. I received it today and it’s in all in black and white. No beautiful colored pictures. For $45 it should be in color like the sample or kindle version. I spent $55 for both versions and neither is what I expected format wise. Just disappointing. It would be 5 stars of these issues were fixed. I attached a page of the kindle vs paperback.
