Een jaar na Per Ongeluk, de verbluffende debuutplaat van Pommelien Thijs, komt er nu ook een live versie van het album. Per Ongeluk Live, uit op 21 juni 2024 bij Sony Music Belgium, is een verzameling bijzondere live-registraties die de aanstekelijke energie van Pommeliens shows natuurgetrouw recht toe doen. Herbeleef hits als “Erop of Eronder”, “Ongewoon” en “Zilver” alsof je opnieuw op de voorste rij staat te springen. Per Ongeluk Live bevat gastoptredens van de Vlaamse popgroep Bazart (“Hou Mij Vast”), de Nederlandse songwriter MEAU (“Droom Het Donker Weg”) en Pommeliens zus Kaat Thijs (“Kleine Tornado”).

Deze versies wakkeren niet alleen fijne herinneringen aan van de uitverkochte ENTERTAINMENT-tournee van afgelopen jaar; ze doen uitkijken naar de onlangs aangekondigde MEER ENTERTAINMENT-shows van begin 2025. Met Per Ongeluk Live vereeuwigt Pommelien haar instant classics op de podia en festivals. “Mijn eerste tour was ongelofelijk leuk, daarom dit aandenken! Dank u aan mijn band en crew voor de vele kilometers en merci aan iedereen die er bij was…jullie energie was onvergetelijk!” Pommelien Thijs is momenteel een van de meest toonaangevende Vlaamse artiesten. Per Ongeluk werd op alle vlakken een triomf: een verzameling pakkende liedjes vol levenslust, zelfspot en zinspreuken die ook zwaardere thema’s bespreekbaar maken voor iedereen.

Helped a bit with barrier, but it must be used very sparingly, and didn't improve fine lines for me.
I had mixed feelings about this eye cream. On paper, the combination of ingredients such as retinol, niacinamide, and centella sounded promising, especially for targeting texture and supporting the skin barrier. However, in practice, I found the formula to be a bit too strong for my sensitive eye area. I had to be very careful not to apply it too close to my eyes to avoid irritation. The cream is very thin and lightweight, and I found that it did absorb well without leaving too much of a greasy residue once applied. After about two weeks of consistent use, I did notice some positive changes. The skin under my eyes felt slightly more elastic, and my skin barrier seemed to be benefiting overall, which I appreciated. That said, I didn’t see any real improvement in fine lines or firmness, which is one of the main reasons I reach for an eye cream with retinol in the first place. The price point is definitely affordable, but it also feels like a case of getting what you pay for. While it’s not a bad product, it didn’t stand out enough for me to consider replacing my regular eye cream. At the end of the day, skincare is a long game. What we do now often shows up years down the line, so I do think it’s worth investing in higher-quality formulas when possible. For me, this one was just okay: some mild benefits, but ultimately unremarkable.

I’m two jars in and love it. I do use Botox, retinol, a good face wash, wash moisturize twice daily, etc etc. I struggle with moisturizer because I’m prone to breakouts. A thick and rich cream that smooths on nicely!
So I jumped on the Korean skincare bandwagon and decided to purchase some of the DR MELAXIN Products to try! I read many good reviews and decided it was worth the money. This first product is the Dr Melaxin Calcium cemenrete calcium volume cream. It comes in a 1.76 ounce glass jar. On the label there is a lot of word descriptions so I will add a few: Ex volume firming, rebornic 10,000 ppm hydrolyzed elastin and collagen extract. I have photographed label for viewing. The directions indicate to "apply a small amount of cream onto your face especially around the under-eye area". I found the cream thick and rich and I used it in addition to another Dr Melaxin neck and face product so I concentrated on only neck and under eye area. It is neutral in scent and is very thick so it feels like it is absorbing nicely. I have been using it for about a month now and have definitely noticed some improvement in the neck area so i will continue to use and layer with other products. I do recommend this line as the ingredients seem effective so far!
