De zeer oude wijngaard staat langs de kust in Maremma. Hier staan de oude ranken in een bodem van zand en zandsteen waardoor de ranken diepe wortels kunnen maken. Zo is de oogst opgewassen tegen de warme zomers in het gebied. De frisse wind vanaf zee geeft de juiste verkoeling en daarmee duurt het groeiseizoen lang. Evenwichtig rijpen de trossen aan de zeer oude stokken en voor deze wijn maakt men gebruik van een klasse blend van Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc en Merlot. Een soort Margaux uit Italië, zo kunnen we het wel noemen. De wijn bestaat voor meer dan 60 procent uit Cabernet Sauvignon en kan hiermee jaren door rijpen op de fles, en dat doet hem goed.Houtlagering voor de Viticcio Bolgheri
Als de oogst rijp is worden de trossen zeer zorgvuldig met de hand geoogst. Enkel de beste trossen voeden deze top wijn. Hierna krijgt de gehele wijn een lagering op eiken houten vaten van 225L. Deze periode duurt minimaal 12 maanden waarna de wijn nog mag rusten voor 6 maanden op roestvrij stalen tanks. Als het sap de fles in gaat is hij niet direct drinkbaar, door rijpen op de fles is noodzakelijk. Bij onze voorraad is dat al gebeurd en daarom nu perfect op dronk.De smaken en geuren uit deze rode wijn
De vreugde staat op onze wangen bij het verwijderen van de kurk, want direct geeft hij een warm boeket aan geuren van koffie, cacao en zure kers, met een rijke achtergrond van natte aarde. In het glas ziet hij donker rood met een lichte paarse rand, ja we hebben een pareltje in ons glas. Laat deze wijn even walsen of nog liever decanteren om alle geuren los te krijgen. We noteerde indrukken van zwart fruit, vanille, zoethout, pure chocolade en wat kersen. In de mond explodeert deze wijn, zo veel smaken van een top wijn. Labs love this!!!

Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour.
This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand.
My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!!
He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again!

Must-Have for Active Dogs!

The Chuckit Sport 26L Dog Ball Launcher has been a game-changer for my large dog! My 80-pound Labrador loves to play fetch, and this launcher makes it so much easier and more enjoyable for both of us.
The 26” length gives me the leverage to throw the ball much farther than I could by hand, which really helps burn off my dog’s energy. The included large ball (3”) is the perfect size for big dogs, and I appreciate that it’s made from durable rubber, so it withstands a lot of chewing and rough play.
What I really love is that the launcher is so lightweight and easy to use. I can play fetch with my dog for extended periods without my arm getting tired. The ergonomic handle also provides a comfortable grip, which is a nice touch.
If you have a large, active dog, the Chuckit Sport 26L is a must-have. It’s well-made, durable, and makes fetch more fun for both you and your dog. Highly recommend!

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy

Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps.
Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large.
This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that...
Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!)
To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.

Great Ball Launcher!

Our dogs love this ball launcher! I can throw the ball long distances without any arm strain. The balls wear out, and as described by others, tennis balls don’t fit. Buy extra balls if this is of concern. We bought a few of the “Chuck It” rubber 3” balls and they have worked well for our dogs. It’s a great value and fun for the dogs.
