Deze halve maan grillplaat past precies in je 21 inch kamado. Hij heeft twee kanten: een vlakke kant voor pannenkoeken of quesadilla's, en een geribbelde kant voor steaks of hamburgers. Door het gietijzer krijg je mooie grillstrepen op je vlees en bakken pannenkoeken of gebakken eieren gaat ook gewoon prima.

De plaat past op het Divide & Conquer systeem van Kamado Joe, waardoor je hem op verschillende hoogtes kunt plaatsen. Handig als je wilt spelen met temperatuurzones. Gietijzer houdt de warmte goed vast en verdeelt deze gelijkmatig, wat zorgt voor een mooi gelijkmatig bakresultaat.

De plaat is al voorbehandeld (voorbehandeld), dus je kunt hem meteen gebruiken. Na gebruik even afvegen met keukenpapier en een dun laagje olie is genoeg. Hoe vaker je hem gebruikt, hoe beter de anti-aanbaklaag wordt.
