The Datavideo SE‑4000MU is a high-performance 4K rack-mount video switcher designed for professional live production environments where flexibility, scalability and reliability are essential. Engineered as a modular core unit within the SE‑4000 ecosystem, it is specifically built to operate in combination with external control panels, making it ideal for broadcast studios, OB vans and fixed AV installations that require a clean and centralized rack-based workflow.

At its core, the SE‑4000MU delivers true UHD 4K production with support for up to 2160p60, ensuring high-resolution performance with accurate color reproduction suitable for modern broadcast and streaming demands. The unit supports a high channel density with multiple 12G‑SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs, allowing up to eight active sources to be processed simultaneously while maintaining flexibility for larger system configurations.
