WARNING: Tighten by hand only. Do not use any tools, and do not over-tighten. Screws may not align with your mast. Due to the reduced torque moment of the thumbscrews, the screws can loosen more easily. Always check screws are tight before and during each session.

great for certain items
i am an infrequent buyer of the assurion warranties but do use them for stuff i think might be something i'd claim on like the very low priced inflatable paddleboard i got. i can't imagine the thig lasting 2 years but the warranty makes that a no brainer. i have only once in my history had to make a claim and it was an easy process where they just automatically refunded the price of the item
