Het vervolg op het succesvolle kaartspel Boonanza is nu al hard op weg om in het spoor van zijn grote broer een topper te worden. Het maakt het originele spel nog leuker en uitdagender, maar bovenal nog gezelliger! Het spel is nu namelijk geschikt voor maximaal 7 bonentelers! Er zijn in deze set nieuwe bonensoorten en opdrachtkaarten toegevoegd. Met de opdrachtkaarten wordt de moeilijkheidsgraad verhoogd en krijgt het spel een nieuwe dimensie. Ook zijn er 1e en 2e bonenveld kaarten aan toegevoegd om het spel overzichtelijker te maken. De nieuwe akkerboon voegt nog een leuk extra detail toe; indien men twee van deze bonen heeft "verbouwd" krijgt men bij het oogsten een derde bonenveld cadeau!

Wonderful and short introduction to plate tectonics for those with little background in Earth science or mathematics
Format: Paperback
Molnar does an excellent job explaining key elements of plate tectonics. His book is understandable even for those with little background in geology or geophysics. Molnar, an expert on mountain building, nicely explains how collisions of plates with continents atop cause mountain belts to form. He also questions the limitations of plate tectonics in explaining formation of such mountains. Understanding Molnar's very short book requires little mathematics. An ideal text for college science courses for non-science majors, and for those who want to understand the evolution of Earth's geological features and phenomena.

Easy to read
Format: Paperback
The book was an easy to read discussion of plate tectonics. The technical terms were easily understood and presented in an interest manner. Technically sound and entertaining is a winning combination for a science book! I wold recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic but is not a scientist in the field.

I read this book or one similar to it my senior year in high school 1970. It absolutely caught my attention as a way to explain why the continents had separated from Gondwanaland.
