Victron Galvanic Isolator VDI-16De galvanische isolator voorkomt elektrolytische corrosie. Het blokkeert de laagspanning gelijkstromen die uw boot binnenkomen via de aardedraad van de walstroomaansluiting. Deze stromen kunnen de corrosie veroorzaken van de metalen onderdelen van de boot die zich onder water bevinden, zoals de romp, schroef, as enzovoort. De galvanische isolator voorkomt elektrolytische corrosie. Het blokkeert de laagspanning gelijkstromen die uw boot binnenkomen via de aardedraad van de walstroomaansluiting. Deze stromen kunnen de corrosie veroorzaken van de metalen onderdelen van de boot die zich onder water bevinden, zoals de romp, schroef, as enzovoort. De galvanische isolator bestaat inwendig uit twee dioden die antiparallel geschakeld zijn. Dioden laten in deze schakeling spanning door in beide richtingen, maar pas boven een bepaalde drempelspanning. De spanning, waarbij een diode gaat geleiden, is circa 1,4 Vdc. De isolator wordt direct achter de 230V aansluiting van uw boot geïnstalleerd. De doorlaatspanning van de galvanische isolator is hoger dan het potentiele verschil tussen metalen. Hierdoor zal deze spanning niet voor geleiding kunnen zorgen en daarmee voorkomt de galvanische isolator dat er een elektrolytische stroom ontstaat. Is er echter een (hogere) foutspanning in het wisselstroomcircuit, dan zullen de dioden de stroom doorlaten en zal de aardlekschakelaar de stroomkring verbreken. GREAT FOR TOUGH CHEWERS!!!

AMAZING FOR TOUGH CHEWERS!!! I did NOT buy this toy with the intentions of it lasting longer than the usual couple of hours for chew toys and tug toys for my three pits (I really only bought it because my puppy likes to chomp when I scratch her booty and corn shaped toys make it look like she is “corn cobbing” the kernels right off). I don’t know if it’s the kernel design or what….but my tough chewers have not been able to make a dent!! And that is NOT from lack of trying!! They usually get through even the toughest toys within a DAY at the most of me giving them to them. I usually buy a few, so they can have at least a few days worth of fun. With this toy, they have tried even harder! It’s almost like it is not personal…because they can’t get through this one! Haha
The string part didn’t stand a chance. In fact, I cut that off within an hour. It was short and hard to hold on to. The threads came apart pretty quickly. I cut that part off. But the corn part?!?! I wish ALL toys were made out of that texture!! I am gobsmacked that the cob is still intact, with each and every kernel still in place!!
If you have a tough chewer…give this one a shot! I am ordering two more right now!! So they can each have their own ear!

Cute but not Durable

It’s a very cute dog toy but for it being labeled for “aggressive chewers” I thought it would last longer than 3 days here.. I now have small chunks of “corn” all over my house and had to throw this toy away.

My dog loves these

I have a healer and he loves his corn. He does go through them every couple months but he’s a very aggressive chewer. He mostly loves to play catch with them. I have ordered many of these.

Kind of hilarious

I bought this for my golden puppy during peak teething time, and she showed no interest for 2 more months before becoming obsessed with it. It squeaks pretty loud & she appears to enjoy that. She also carries it while running by the rope end and flails it around to play lol. Worth it.
