De emaille laag is een beschermende barrière wat voorkomt dat er schadelijke stoffen in je eten terecht komen, en is daardoor uitermate geschikt voor mensen met bepaalde allergieën. De pan word geleverd met een glazen deksel met een kunststof handvat.
