De SpinLord Degu was ons eerste korte noppen rubber en is nog steeds een van onze meest populaire opties. Zowel het bovenblad als de spons zijn zeer zacht. De noppen van de Degu zijn erg kort, hebben een kegelvorm en geribbelde noppenkoppen.
De spons is niet alleen elastisch, maar heeft ook een goed ingebouwd snelheidslijmeffect.
De Degu is zeer ongevoelig voor inkomende spin en is ook zeer gemakkelijk te spelen. Daarom is het ook een goede keuze voor alle spelers die nog nooit eerder met een korte noppen rubber hebben gespeeld.
Gevorderde spelers zullen onder de indruk zijn van de hoeveelheid spin die met dit rubber kan worden gegenereerd. Geen enkel ander korte noppen rubber is zo geschikt voor het spelen van topspin als de Degu, en ook voor het spelen van undercutballen is het zeer geschikt. Tegelijkertijd kunnen tegenaanvallen en geblokkeerde ballen net zo gemakkelijk, effectief en precies worden gespeeld als met hardere rubbers. Alleen voor krachtige slagen is de Degu niet het beste rubber, daarvoor is de Waran veel beter.
Alle slagen gespeeld met de Degu hebben een zeer lange balcontacttijd omdat het rubber niet alleen zacht is, maar het rubbercompound ook erg plakkerig is. Dit is vrij uniek voor een korte noppen rubber en stelt de speler in staat om veelzijdiger te spelen dan met de meeste andere vergelijkbare rubbers. Als de speler dit voordeel volledig kan benutten, zal de Degu ook gevaarlijk zijn voor de tegenstander. Maar het is geen rubber dat zo gevaarlijk is dat spelers die het gebruiken veel gemakkelijke punten kunnen scoren alleen door het storende effect.

It's a simple, basic scale. Lightweight, it's easy to move from where I stash it to where I use it for measuring coffee. The unit of measure holds it setting when you turn it off, which is nice. I use it in grams for coffee, which is 95% of my use. I acquired a big bag of coffee (5lbs or so) which I broke down into smaller vacuum-packed bags for storage, measured out at 180g each. The scale mostly performed like a champ, although it drifted off zero twice between during bags. Simply shutting restarting the scale got it back on track. It works for me, if you're a hardcore candy maker or baker, you may want a higher quality unit.

Broken, after 1 week of use

Sorry but, no. Stopped working after less than 1 week of use. They pre-install cheap batteries. I used it for a few days but then It wouldn’t turn on so I switched them out with fresh ones. Now the start/stop button isn’t working. Discovered during an extraction…arg!! Don’t mess with me while performing my craft! lol. Build quality is poor. Don’t over handle it, yeah, that’s how fragile it appears to be. I like that it is light weight but so light, I question if the durability and weight factor are compromising the output accuracy. Doesn’t feel reliable at all. I also question if this is waterproof, again, having everything to do with build quality. This is not my first scale but it is for coffee use so I’m on the hunt for a better one. This was cheap in price, yes. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. One good thing that came out of this is, while it was working, I realized how much this was really needed for me to make exceptional and accurate espresso shots, so time to find a better one. I wanted this to work, I really did.
