Door traditionele rode portdruiven kortstondig koel in te weken en het licht gekleurde vruchtensap vervolgens - eveneens bij lage temperatuur - te vergisten, ontstaat de basis voor deze verrassend smakelijke en geheel unieke Pink Port. Met deze wijn is een nieuwe categorie toegevoegd aan het indrukwekkende en diverse aanbod portwijnen. Croft Pink heeft misschien nog het meeste weg van een lichtvoetige ruby port met de aanlokkelijke geur en smaak van bessen en kersen. Daarnaast domineren aroma's van framboos, bloesem, honing en grapefruit.

'Pink' is niet houtgelagerd en daardoor levendig fris van stijl en bovendien extra verleidelijk dankzij een speels fruitige afdronk die telkens doet verlangen naar een nieuwe slok. De wijn komt het beste – gekoeld geschonken of met ijs – tot z'n recht als aperitief en begeleider van gebrande amandeltjes, olijven, toastjes en charcuterie. De sublieme combinatie met miniem gezoete desserts en fruitsalades spreekt voor zich.

 

KLIMAAT & TERROIR: Een klimaat met warme zomers en koude winters. De bodem kent elementen van verweerd graniet en leisteen.
VINIFICATIE: De druiven ondergaan een kortstondig koude schilinweking waarna het licht gekleurde sap vergist - eveneens bij lage temperatuur - in RVS. Pink Port rijpt niet op hout.
DRUIVEN: touriga nacional, touriga francesa, tinta roriz, tinta barroca
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 19,50%
GEUR & SMAAK: Lichtvoetig, levendig en friszoet met aroma's van bessen, kersen, frambozen, bloesem, honing en grapefruit.
SERVEERSUGGESTIE: Gekoeld geschonken of met ijs lekker als aperitief en begeleider van geroosterde amandelen, olijven, toastjes en charcuterie. Ook lekker met licht zoete desserts, sorbets en fruitsalades.

My dogs favorite balls

They do lose their shape a little over time (like I said, she always has a ball in her mouth) they become a little oval in shape. My Dachshunds Love These

These balls are durable, flexible material, highly chewable without being easily destroyed. I stuff them with Milkbone Maro Snacks, which are just the right size to twist into the holes in the ball. My dogs literally get an hour+ chewing and chasing entertainment from these. They chew them, they sometimes 'pop' out of their mouths, go rolling across the floor, dogs chasing them. This satisfies their urge to hunt prey. Dachshunds can easily tear this kind of stuff-it-toy apart. These have lasted for a long time without tearing or shredding. I would NOT recommend them for a dog much larger than a tweenie weenie. They're a bit on the small side and might be swallowed by a larger dog. It would be cool it they also came in a larger size (and probably ball wall thickness also) for the bigger dogs to enjoy. These stuff-it chew balls are better than the kong balls my dogs had before these. Highly recommend them.
