Direct te stoken eikenhout

Bij haardhout is het belangrijk dat het hout goed droog is. Dat is bij ons eikenhout zeker het geval! De blokken hoeft u niet meer verder te laten drogen, maar kunt u thuis direct opstoken in de kachel. Er is een schone verbranding, zonder rook en vervuiling van het rookkanaal.

Eiken = een harde en duurzame houtsoort

Eiken is één van de hardste houtsoorten in ons assortiment. Voordeel hiervan is dat er een trage verbranding is. Hierdoor kunt u lekker lang stoken met eiken! Verder is er een warme vlam, zonder rookontwikkeling. Doordat het in netzakken is verpakt, is het hout gemakkelijk te verplaatsen.

Stoken met eiken haardhout

Voor eiken adviseren wij om de kachel zeer goed warm te stoken. Dit kunt u doen met diverse haardvuur accessoires, waaronder aanmaakhout. Voor het ontbranden heeft u de keuze uit aanmaakblokjes of houtkrullen. Verwarm de kachel totdat deze goed warm is, zodat u daarna goed kunt stoken met eikenhout. Het advies om met minimaal drie á vier blokken tegelijk te stoken. Vervolgens geeft eikenhout een levendig én gezellig haardvuur!

I'm on the fence about returning them but I did get them on sale and if the mark doesn't come out in the wash, I can't really wear the in public unless I wear something long to cover the upper thigh area. They fit great and are very comfortable but then there is that unsightly mark. For reference, I am just under 5'0, 105 lbs and bought size small. I will have a think about it the next few days about returning them...or not.
