Het wordt dan slechts één keer gedistilleerd met behulp van een Filipijnse distilleerketel, die is gemaakt van koper en hout.

Dit is een funky Raicilla met geuren van blauwe kaas die recht in de neus valt als je eraan ruikt. De smaak heeft wat pure chocolade en fruitigheid afkomstig van kersen. De afdronk is vrij uitgesproken en krachtig en zal een tijdje in de mond blijven zitten.

Raicilla La Venenosa werd in 2011 opgericht door chef Esteban Morales om de verborgen parel onder de agave-dranken naar de wereldmarkt te brengen. Raicilla is een soort mezcal die al meer dan 600 jaar wordt geproduceerd in de staat Jalisco, Mexico.
