This advanced broadcast camera is engineered to meet the demands of modern television, live production and online broadcasting, while also offering the image quality of a digital cinema system. Its innovative three in one architecture allows it to function as a 4K production camera, a fully featured 4K studio camera or a 6K digital film camera simply by changing lenses and recording formats. This versatility makes it ideal for broadcasters seeking a single platform that adapts effortlessly to different workflows. 

At the heart of the system is a high performance 6K sensor measuring 23.10 mm by 12.99 mm, delivering 13 stops of dynamic range and Blackmagic generation 5 color science. When used with the included 2/3 inch B4 mount, the sensor provides a dedicated 4K window optimised for broadcast lenses, while switching to EF, PL or F mounts unlocks the full 6K resolution for cinematic production. Dual native gain at 0 dB and 18 dB ensures excellent low light performance with minimal noise, even in challenging lighting conditions. 

Designed for fast paced broadcast environments, the magnesium alloy chassis integrates extensive external controls that can be identified by touch, allowing operators to work without taking their eyes off the viewfinder. A 4 inch capacitive touchscreen provides full menu access and acts as a redundant control interface, ensuring reliability in demanding situations. Built in ND filters with four positions enable rapid exposure control without affecting color balance or depth of field. 

Recording flexibility is a key strength. Footage can be captured to standard SD cards, UHS II media, CFast 2.0 cards or directly to external USB‑C drives. Supported formats include H.265, ProRes and Blackmagic RAW, making the camera compatible with virtually all broadcast and post production systems. The unit also supports direct live streaming via RTMP or SRT using a USB‑C connection to a network or mobile device.

Professional connectivity includes 12G SDI, balanced XLR audio inputs, precise timecode generation and full remote camera control for studio operation.
