Na ongeveer 3 dagen fermentatie in inox wordt de wijn versterkt met brandy, waardoor de vergisting bij de gewenste zoetheid stopt. Deze Cossart Gordon rijpt in Amerikaanse eikenhouten vaten volgens het traditionele canteiro-systeem. Daarbij wordt de wijn voorzichtig verwarmd op de zolders van de lodges in Funchal. In de loop der jaren wordt de wijn overgebracht van de bovenste verdiepingen naar de middelste verdiepingen en uiteindelijk naar de begane grond, waar het koeler is. Na deze geleidelijke ‘estufagem’ wordt de wijn geklaard en gefilterd voordat hij geblend en gebotteld wordt. Met zijn aroma’s van pruim, amandel, vanille, toffee en hout is hij uitstekend als digestief, maar past hij ook heel goed bij fruit, melkchocolade, gebak en harde kazen. Best Book About Comic Book Guy EVER

You love the Simpsons!
You love Comic Book Guy!
And, well, to gain the best possible enjoyment of this book, you also love, or at least have a passing knowledge of, movies, science-fiction, pro wrestling (Rob Van Dam in ECW makes a cameo!), comics, video games, Dungeons & Dragons, and just general geek culture. And if you do, you'll LOVE this book. Sure, it seems to be the same gags just updated every few pages... but what are you expecting, Pride and Prejudice?
It's an illustrated book, it has Simpsons-esque humor, and it's an enjoyable read. Highly recommended.
