The Hair System brand offers a wide selection of furniture and equipment designed for hair and barber salons. The brand’s range includes stylish reception desks, comfortable wash units and practical hairdressing chairs, all tailored to meet users’ needs.

A modern hairdressing wash unit with a functional design

The Hair System Komodo hairdressing wash unit combines minimalist design with practical solutions that enhance working comfort. The integrated construction ensures stability and an aesthetic appearance, whilst the simple, geometric form fits perfectly into modern hairdressing and barber shop interiors. The ergonomically designed chair, with a comfortable backrest and profiled armrests, ensures the client’s comfort during treatments.

Comfortable use

The deep ceramic basin in shades of black effectively minimises splashing of water and cosmetics, helping to keep the workstation tidy. The adjustable angle allows the basin to be adapted to the client’s height and the hairdresser’s preferences, enhancing the ergonomics of the services provided. The durable ceramic is resistant to discolouration, scratches and chemicals, whilst the smooth surface facilitates the maintenance of high hygiene standards. The profiled collar provides stable head support, whilst the plastic cover eliminates the sensation of coldness when in contact with the basin.

Well-thought-out features and accessories

The model is fitted with a mixer tap, ensuring constant access to hot and cold water and convenient temperature adjustment to suit the customer’s needs. A holder for the shower head improves workflow organisation, whilst a plug with a built-in strainer allows for control of water flow and helps maintain hygiene at the station. The water connection concealed within the base allows for the installation to be neatly concealed, emphasising the neat and professional appearance of the wash station. These functional solutions ensure efficient and comfortable daily work in the salon.

Minimalist elegance and comfort

This modern-style chair ensures comfortable conditions during hairdressing treatments. The stable backrest promotes correct body posture, whilst the wide seat enhances comfort even during longer services. The synthetic leather upholstery in shades of black is moisture-resistant and easy to keep clean, making the wash unit ideal even for intensive use. A complete set of fittings – tap, shower head and dedicated hoses – ensures the station is fully ready for use. The universal design allows the model to be easily adapted to both modern and classic interiors.

this is the book you’re looking for
Format: Paperback
I’d just finished reading Jules Gil-Peterson’s A Short History and felt a little unsatisfied and uncomfortable with all the orientialism. I picked this up and was immediately sure I had the antidote. Bhatt is clear, direct, and uncompromising. She avoids filler and gets right to the heart of things—“how is this not like blackface?” gets dealt with more thoroughly and decisively than I have ever seen it within the first few pages. She reveals the transmisogyny lurking in even nominally queer social and intellectual movements, and also finds pockets of beautiful solidarity and common ground in some surprising places. Above all, her love for women shines through every word. This book cleared up some misconceptions I had, made me cry, and will make me a better partner and comrade to trans women. Buy it.

Excellent essays in a brilliant book
Format: Paperback
This is a really excellent book. A lot of anthologies of essays have great essays in them, as this one does, but not all of them work as well as a cohesive text as Trans/ Rad/Fem does. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in transfeminism, even if you'd already read individual essays from Bhatt's newsletter by the same name. As with the essays in their newsletter format, The Third Sex and The Questions Has an Answer were my favorite. Bhatt's writing has such force and clarity that I look forward to reading whatever she chooses to write about next.

Absolutely brilliant
Format: Kindle
An absolute tour de force reckoning with decades of feminist scholarship and theorizing about trans feminine bodies and motivations. Succinctly and pithily describes the hegemonic culture’s understanding of transsexual women and demands an accounting from the hegemony’s enablers on their treatment of all marginalized queer and especially trans people.

Bhatt Writes Like a Freight Train Barreling Towards You
It's just hit after hit after hit. It's some of the punchiest writing I've ever read, conceived from a combination of a mastery over the written word and enough righteous indignation to burn a star out. Perfection. If you brought back Simone de Beauvoir today, after she stopped screaming at the sight of a computer, I think she'd thoroughly enjoy this. Rigorous and bracing as a read. Has its place in the modern feminist canon.
