De Woodlounger is gemaakt van duurzaam larikshout, dat met een beetje onderhoud jaren meegaat en de lounger een elegante natuurlijke uitstraling geeft. Kunnen de kussens buiten blijven? Zijn de kussens en matrassen wasbaar?
Ja, de kussens en matrassen kunnen buiten blijven, ook bij regen. Ja, de buitenhoes is wasbaar volgens de instructies op het waslabel aan de binnenkant van de hoezen. Het is echter aanbevolen om eerst de andere reinigingsinstructies te volgen:
- koud wassen max 30 graden
- niet bleken
- strijken op lage temperatuur
- niet drogen
- niet chemisch reinigen
Wat als het kussen en de matras erg nat zijn geworden?
Controleer of de vulling van het kussen en de matras nat is geworden. Zo niet, geen nood, de hoes droogt vanzelf. Zo ja, dan is het raadzaam om de kussens of matras bij droog weer buiten te laten drogen met de rits open.
Kunnen de kussens en matrassen buiten het gebruiksseizoen blijven?
Wij raden aan ze binnen te laten drogen na elk gebruik. De Fieldlounger kan in principe het hele jaar door buiten blijven staan.
Is de stof vlekbestendig?
Ja, de stof is van een synthetische vezel en is daarom gemakkelijk te reinigen, volg de reinigingsinstructies. Is het hout behandeld? Nee, het hout is niet behandeld. Zonder behandeling zal het na verloop van tijd grijs worden. Wij raden aan het hout voor het eerste gebruik te behandelen.
Er zit hars op mijn Fieldlounger of matras, wat nu?
Een van de kenmerken van larikshout is dat er veel hars in zit. De hars beschermt de boom onder andere tegen ziekten. De hars is gemakkelijk te verwijderen uit zowel het hout als bijvoorbeeld de matras of kleding met wasbenzine.
Mijn Fieldlounger is moeilijk uit te klappen, wat moet ik doen?
Als het Fieldlounger moeilijk te openen is, draai de 2 schroeven aan beide zijden bij het "scharnier" ongeveer 1/4 slag los en probeer het opnieuw. probeer opnieuw of het ligbed nu beter opent.

WARNING - EXTREMELY SHARP AREAS

UPDATE: The 2nd one I ordered was exactly the same with the sharp parts in the same areas as the first one. I cannot stress enough that a few points are sharp enough to cut or badly scratch. So if you’re planning on putting some food on it so your pup can lick, this is not the product you want! This could still scratch or cut the gums if used as a chew toy too though. I was thinking about sanding the sharp points but then I have no idea if that exposes any chemicals somehow? Really wanted this to work out!
I took this corn on the cob toy out of the plastic to wash it and before I even got to the sink I realized there were several areas that are super sharp. A few sharp enough that could cut or badly scratch! It was sealed in a plastic bag and shows no signs of being used so this defect must happen at the manufactures level. I added a video showing how easily it snags a cotton ball, cotton pad and even a beanie. Please thoroughly check your item before giving it to your pup! I was so excited to put some smashed banana on this thing and give it to my guy and thank god I checked it first! I’m going to return it and see if a 2nd one is any better and I’ll update if it is or isn’t. Also, the super sharp spots were very hard to photograph which is why I added the video.

This thing is great for hi anxiety dogs and dogs that ned to have something to do or to chew. It will take them a while to get through to it. I was told that it was indestructible but I knew if there was a dog that could do it, it would be mine, and she did. But it took her some time. But she loves it and it keeps her busy.

Cute and durable!

My dog absolutely loves this toy! I'm not sure why people are complaining it's too hard, it's a nylon dog chew toy, it's supposed to be hard. I love the little holes in the lattice top I can stuff with treats. It keeps my very (VERY) active dog busy for a long time. I would definitely recommend this if you have a power chewer. It's also super cute, I just love to see him tote around a piece of pie.
