De Cortado en Rama is een bijzonder wijn met een nog bijzonderder karakter. Deze wijn van Bodegas Toro Albala is uniek te noemen. Hij rijpt in speciale Fino vaten, oftewel vaten waar eerst Sherry in is verouderd. Dit maakt dat deze wijn andere aroma’s en smaken opslaat. En die 25 jaar veroudering is het wachten meer dan waard.

25 jaar veroudering voor Poley Palo Cortdo en Rama

Het wijnhuis genaamd Toro Albala, vernoemd naar de oprichter, werd in 1922 opgericht in de Montilla Moriles regio. Het was het eerste wijnhuis dat zoete dessertwijnen verkocht. Ongeveer 30 procent van de druiven zijn afkomstig van eigen wijngaarden. De overige 70 procent van partnertelers. In de ondergrondse tunnels is de wijnkelder te vinden met ongeveer 6000 vaten. Ze zijn expert op het gebied van de Pedro Ximenex druif, die ook in de wijn een hoofdrol speelt. De druiven worden bij optimale rijpheid geoogst, waarna ze vrijwel direct naar de wijnmakerij worden gebracht. Hier volgt een strenge selectie waarbij alleen de beste druiven overblijven. De wijnbereiding is even uniek als de wijn zelf. Hij rijpt in Fino vaten waardoor deze wijn op een compleet andere manier rijpt dan andere wijnen. De veroudering duurt maar liefst 25 jaar.

Een elegante wijn van Toro Albala

Het resultaat is een amberkleurige wijn met mooie groenachtige tinten. De geur is intens en springt direct uit het glas. Wij noteren tabak, hout en kruiden zoals peper en kruidnagel. Deze aroma’s worden aangevuld met de wat warmere geuren van walnoten en hazelnoot. De smaak is allereerst droog en mondvullend. De zuurgraad zorgt dat alles in balans wordt gehouden en maakt plaats voor wat zoutachtige tonen. Een prachtige elegante wijn die perfect past bij vlees- en wildgerechten.

Worth the extra money because you aren’t wasting money on puppy pads that are shredded before they are even used. If your puppy is still set on shredding, make sure to add lots of toys on a rotation (never the same toys everyday) and it helps a lot. Once I did that and changed the holder, no shredded puppy pads!

Amazon Basics Dog Training Pad Holder 28X34. I'll start out by saying I wasn't too sure about it, when I got it. It is awkward to put the pads in by yourself if your short as on each end the sides have to come up together and it’s big, however, I've done it five times alone now and it’s doable. When she gets a little older, we will probably move it to another room, but for now it’s staying there. After she urinates, it goes down to a very pale yellow color I have been able to use one pad for all day, however, she does have a pad in a under bed tote in our master bathroom. We’ve had a few guests over and if she hadn’t used it they didn’t even know what it was. I highly recommend it. I have been using pads in an under the bed tote for over 10 years and this is a welcome audition. You won’t be sorry if you have little ones that go in the house.
