Het gebruik van Lapis Lazuli gaat terug tot de beschaving van de oude Egyptenaren toen het werd gebruikt om farao's, koninginnen en godinnen te sieren en men geloofde dat het de ziel naar onsterfelijkheid zou leiden en het hart zou openen voor de liefde.
