Groei en bloei

De Japanse mispel groeit snel en kan al binnen enkele jaren een volwassen formaat bereiken. De bloei vindt plaats in het late najaar of vroege winter, waarbij de plant kleine witte bloemen produceert. Deze bloemen hebben een aangename geur en trekken bestuivende insecten aan.

Bijdrage aan de biodiversiteit

De Japanse mispel draagt bij aan de biodiversiteit in de tuin. De bloemen trekken bestuivende insecten aan, zoals bijen en vlinders. Daarnaast kunnen de vruchten van de plant vogels aantrekken, die zich voeden met de zoete pulp.

Suggesties voor combinatie met andere planten

De Japanse mispel kan goed gecombineerd worden met andere groenblijvende planten, zoals buxus of laurier. Daarnaast kan de plant ook mooi staan naast bloeiende planten met contrasterende kleuren, zoals lavendel of rozen.

Ideale standplaats

De Japanse mispel gedijt het beste op een zonnige standplaats, maar kan ook groeien in halfschaduw. De plant heeft goed doorlatende grond nodig en kan niet goed tegen natte voeten. Het is belangrijk om de plant regelmatig water te geven, vooral tijdens droge periodes.

Winterhardheid

De Japanse mispel is redelijk winterhard en kan temperaturen tot -10°C verdragen. In Nederland is de plant geschikt voor de meeste delen van het land, maar kan het in strenge winters wel wat bescherming nodig hebben, zoals het afdekken met vliesdoek.

Bemesting en verzorging

De Japanse mispel heeft geen speciale bemesting nodig, maar kan wel profiteren van een jaarlijkse bemesting in het voorjaar. Gebruik hiervoor een algemene meststof voor tuinplanten. Daarnaast is het belangrijk om de plant regelmatig te snoeien om de vorm en grootte onder controle te houden.

Don’t let the “unaesthetic” brand & packaging fool you— there is nothing better for acne than this face wash. I have been repurchased this face wash for almost 10 years now. I use it morning & night for acne & use it daily on my armpits for a detox. I have combination skin, so this knocks out my greasy areas & acne, & then I just go in with a heavy duty moisturizer, barrier serum & milky toner after for my dry areas. (Side note: I used Accutane as a 16 year old for cystic back acne & a face full of tiny white zits, & this has allowed me to maintain acne free skin almost 10 years later without getting a prescription ointment.) As for consistency & smell: It’s a white cream that doesn’t foam, & a little goes a long way. One bottle last a RIDICULOUSLY long time, unlike most “viral” face washes that last a month. It doesn’t have any added fragrance, but still smells very clean (almost like a light chlorine, which I personally love). As for cost: It’s also priced at an EXTREMELY low cost, with Walmarts great value version only being $0.50 less expensive for a more grainy & chemically smelling wash. !!!!!!!ADDED WARNING!!!!!: this is a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream, which is REALLY strong. You absolutely need to ease your way into using it so you don’t give yourself a chemical burn, every other day to start AT LEAST, & beware of how long you leave it on your skin. I know people with severe cystic acne that will leave it on for minutes before washing it off, but I leave it on for 15 seconds MAX or else my face gets irritated. Beware of sun exposure, & be sure to research if it interacts with other skincare products you’re currently using!

Oh. My. Goodness. I had pretty bad acne. one day at a store I bought a travel size of one of these 10% panoxyl and tried it and omg my pimples are gone. Yes I get the occasional spots but they aren’t as terrible as before. My face is so much clearer and it even cleared a little spot of milia I had for so long! My face feels fresh everytime I use it and looks shiny and healthy. No burning for my face atleast. Doesn’t bleach if you rinse it off well. My routine is face wash, panoxyl, azelaic acid, moisturizer. I would recommend if you’re gonna use this to patch test on a part of skin near your face could be your temple area by your ear but it’s so important so you don’t end up with burning skin if your sensitive. But otherwise it’s so great and I love it I use it everyday with occasional 1-2 day breaks cleared my acne and now my face is getting more clear! So happy I got this.

An Absolute NEED In My Skincare Routine!!

These are an absolute need in my skincare routine! I use them to remove oil-based and water-based cleansers and to remove masks. They’re fragrance-free and don’t really have a scent, maybe a very light, practically unnoticeable, bamboo scent. I think it’s a very good deal to get 50 XL disposable face towels for $17. I was using these for months and then didn’t use them for a few months and yeah huge difference in my skin, which is why I bought them again and will continue to. It’s also great not having to wash them lol! I also love the new magnetic lid closure and the new design of the box, you can now have your face towels fully covered and sealed without having to buy a separate box with lid to put them in. Although their prism holographic box is so cute and pretty, and their prism box is $20 cheaper on Amazon!
