Door het gebruiken van 1 van de 4 kits heeft elke moestuin liefhebber, maar ook de hovenier de mogelijkheid om de frequentie van het watergeven te beperken tot elke paar weken i.p.v. elke paar dagen. Zonder verdamping of het water verloren te laten gaan, zoals bij watergeven van bovenaf.

 

Werking WaterUps Waterreservoir

Het WaterUps waterreservoir maakt gebruik van capillaire werking, waarbij water omhoog wordt getrokken om de grond te bevochtigen. Dit proces wordt versterkt door perliet in de 'voeten' van het reservoir. Doordat het water wordt opgeslagen, gaat er niets verloren door verdamping of in de bodem. Het reservoir is veelzijdig inzetbaar: geschikt voor plantenbakken binnen en buiten, onder bomen en struiken, en toepasbaar in particuliere tuinen, openbare ruimten en op terrassen.

I've just received the watch, so I can't comment on the durability. Hopefully it lasts a long time, because I really like this watch. I have to put the watch pretty close to my ear to hear it, and I have good hearing. When I do hear it, it's actually a pleasant sound to me. To sum it all up, I love this watch! I actually do a little watch collecting. This is by far the least expensive watch I own. And now, the one I'll wear the most.
