Voor een goede werking van je Kamado barbecue is het essentieel dat de deksel goed luchtdicht sluit. Deze glasvezel afdichting ofwel infinity gasket is zeer slijtvast, zelfklevend en gaat vele malen langer mee dan normaal vilt.

Hoe moet ik het band aanbrengen?

Verwijder het oude vilt zorgvuldig met een mesje of verfkrabber. Zorg dat de rand goed stof- en vetvrij is. Voordat je begint met plakken meet even of het band goed past. Als dat zo is, plak het band op de dome en zorg ervoor dat het begin/eind bij het scharnier is. Verbind het begin en einde met het extra stukje glasvezel en plak dit goed vast met het dubbelzijdige tape dat is meegeleverd. Voor het deksel werk je hetzelfde. Let op dat je het begin/eind iets laat verspringen ten opzichte het band op de dome om een goede luchtdichting te garanderen. Bij twijfel even bellen of appen, dan sturen we je gewoon een filmpje!
