Interacties en contra-indicaties :
Volgens medisch advies bij overschrijden van de ADH met verscheidene of meerdere dosissen
of bij inname van amfetamines en cyclische antidepressiva-bij blaassteenvorming op basis van oxaalzuur, 
verminderde nierfunctie of dialyse op lange termijn. Mogelijke bijwerkingen: motorische onrust, slapeloosheid, 
diarree... bij de inname van meer dan 1 g in gecumuleerde dosissen. 
Er bestaat geen hypervitaminose C, de overschotten worden uitgescheiden in de ontlasting.
