The device automatically detects incoming analog formats across SD, HD, 2K and 4K standards, ensuring a smooth and reliable workflow even when working with mixed legacy sources. Ultra HD signals are output over a single 12G SDI connection, allowing long cable runs and high frame rates without additional hardware. Internal down‑conversion ensures that material originating in Ultra HD can still be recorded or monitored in SD or HD if required. This adaptability makes the converter suitable for multi‑stage production environments, including archival digitization, broadcast facilities and post production suites that require precise signal consistency.

Color accuracy is maintained through support for REC 601 and REC 709 color spaces, while high precision 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 processing ensures smooth tonal reproduction even in demanding grading and restoration workflows.
